01Eligibility & age requirement
The Service is intended only for adults 18 years of age or older. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account, post in the forum, or otherwise use age-restricted areas. We may remove accounts we reasonably believe belong to minors.
02What Subcutera is, and is not
Subcutera is an independent education and harm-reduction platform. We publish referenced, general-interest information about peptides, including research summaries, safety and sterile-technique guidance, regulatory status, and a moderated community forum.
Subcutera does not: manufacture, sell, distribute, ship, or supply peptides or any drug; operate as a pharmacy, compounder, or healthcare provider; prescribe, diagnose, or recommend dosing for any individual; or act as a marketplace for the sale of peptides. Links to third-party gear or suppliers are provided for information only, are clearly labeled, and are not offers to sell by us.
03Not medical advice
All content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and is not medical, pharmaceutical, legal, or professional advice, and is not a substitute for the judgment of a licensed healthcare provider. We do not establish a doctor–patient relationship with you. Any dosing, frequency, or cycling figures we reference reflect what is reported in research literature, they are not recommendations for you. Never start, stop, or change anything you take based on this Service without consulting a qualified provider.
04Regulatory status of peptides
Most peptides discussed are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and are research or investigational substances; some may not be legal to sell, possess, or use for human consumption in your jurisdiction, and their legal and regulatory status is actively changing. Each profile aims to state the current status, but it may become out of date. Subcutera is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the FDA or any government agency. You are solely responsible for determining and complying with the laws that apply to you.
05Educational content & accuracy
We strive to cite primary sources and to mark when content was last reviewed. Even so, content is provided "as is," may contain errors or omissions, and may not reflect the most current research or law. We make no warranty that any information is accurate, complete, or applicable to your situation.
06Community forum & user content
The forum requires a free account and confirmation that you are 18+. You retain ownership of content you post, but you grant Subcutera a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it in connection with operating the Service. You are responsible for what you post and represent that you have the right to post it.
Prohibited content and conduct. You agree not to post or do any of the following:
- Offers to buy, sell, source, trade, or advertise peptides or other controlled or unapproved substances, or solicitations to do so;
- Individualized medical advice, or content presented as professional medical, pharmacological, or legal advice;
- Content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, or that doxxes or shares others' private information;
- Spam, scams, malware, or attempts to gain unauthorized access; and
- Infringement of anyone's intellectual property or other rights.
Moderation. Posts are the opinions of members, are not medical advice, and are not reviewed or endorsed by Subcutera. We use human and automated moderation and may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts at our discretion. Consistent with Section 230 of the U.S. Communications Decency Act, we are generally not responsible for content created by users. Report tools are provided; please flag anything unsafe.
07Advertising, affiliate links & suppliers
Subcutera is supported by clearly labeled advertising, affiliate links, and sponsored supplier placements. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Listings marked "Sponsored" are paid placements. These commercial relationships are kept separate from, and do not dictate, our editorial content.
We do not sell peptides and we do not guarantee the safety, legality, quality, or claims of any third-party supplier or product. Any third-party transaction is solely between you and that third party. You are responsible for your own due diligence and for verifying legality in your jurisdiction.
08Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to: violate any law; use the Service to facilitate the illegal sale or distribution of any substance; scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content except as expressly permitted; interfere with or disrupt the Service; or misrepresent your identity or age. Misuse of the information provided is solely at your own risk.
09Intellectual property
The Service and its content, including text, graphics, the Subcutera name, logo, and design, are owned by Subcutera or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.
10Third-party links
The Service contains links to third-party websites and resources. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy and security practices. Accessing them is at your own risk.
11Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any content is accurate or reliable.
12Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUBCUTERA AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE OR ANY CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED [USD 100] OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Subcutera from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.
14Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [County, State], and you consent to their jurisdiction. Content on the Service is general and may not reflect the law where you live; it is your responsibility to know and follow your local laws.
15Copyright / DMCA takedown
We respect intellectual-property rights. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with the information required by the DMCA (identification of the work, the material, your contact information, and a good-faith statement) to our designated agent at [dmca@subcutera.com]. We will respond to valid notices and may remove the material.
16Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
